Hey guys, what is the threadsize on the little oil-filter "tap" and well, the oil-filter? I purchased a flange to put between the block and oil-filter but it seems to me that it screws into the oil-filter very loosely and it will not really attach to the block.

It seems to me I will have to get a new piece CNC machined, but i need to know the thread size.. oh, i prefer european sizes ;) Are they all the same on our cars or do different countries have different thread-sizes?

I guess this is a good one for Jeff Lange ;)

Sincerly,
Michael

Did you purchase a filter stud for the 7M-GE motor to attach the sandwich plate?
Are you deleting the stock filter head and going with a full flow remote filter and cooler circuit?

As far as I know, the studs are the same...3/4"-16 on the filter side.

Yup,
3/4-16 is what they are........

20x1.5 on the block from memory but I'd have to check to be 100% on this.

^^ I was wondering that myself.... I was thinking M18 - 1.5

Pretty sure it's larger but I'll check when I go out to the shed later ;)
