I am diasppointed in those cars. My friend got one the other day moving up from a v6 mustang and he thought it was soooo fast. Well lets just say I gave him a lesson on boost.:naughty:
My mods: K&N, 3 in. turbo elbow to 3 in. open dp, and arp head studs, stock boost
About 45mph roll I motioned him to get on it once I heard him hit it I floored it. Easy kill. Needless to say he wasn't happy considering the fact that he had the car for about 4 hours and already lost a race. At the gas station I finally got to use the phrase "Turbo lag: the amount of time when you thought you were going to win.:biglaugh:

With gas at what it is, you should really choose your races carefully. A V6 mustang isn't worth the effort or the risk of getting a ticket. A kill is a kill, but you could have beat him on five cylinders...........:biglaugh:
You can't be much of a friend if you let him buy a mustang of any make or model.........:evil2:
FRIENDS DON'T LET FRIENDS BUY MUSTANGS!

From how I read it Jay, it sounds like it was a V8 ;)

I thought he said he was moving up to a v6 mustang, but now I see that reading comprehension owns me...........:biglaugh:

another one of my friends got a 98 trans am yesterday. Thats the only kind of car I would even think about trading my supra for.:sarcasm:
Its a 6 speed but he doesn't really know how to drive it. I'll probably race him soon so I'll let you guys know
tell him its actually a seven speed and see what happens when he hits 7th gear at 80mph

^ Hahaha
You can't even pretend to put an Fbody T56 in reverse from a roll. You can barely do it stopped.
I would gladly trade my current Supra for a 77-81 or 93+ TA in decent shape

hahaha this sounds so familiar?? oh yes i did the same thing to my friend that had a 03 gt auto with just a off road x-pipe and i pulled him, he was mad, he now has a 03 mach1 which is a factory freak.
the 96-98gt's are a frigin joke for a v8 to give you a great comparison my the guy that had the 03 gt auto above raced another friend of ours that had a 98 gt auto with minor bolt ons(exhaust, intake, off road h-pipe) and 125 dry shot.
they raced one night from a 30 punch and the 98 was spraying a little 75 shot to beet the 03 guess what HE STILL LOST, then he bumped it up to the 125 and BARELY pulled away. . i couldnt believe it. . .
anyway, with the same set up i was pulling about 7psi and lost to stock cobras (96-04) and stock f-bodies (94-98) because i have alot of friends with these exact cars.
