This Supra belongs to an old customer from my Driftmotion days. He came to us at Kaizen after rodnocking two JDM 2jz's! After all the heartache, we built a fresh 2jz for him. The block was bored using a torque plate, but before all that it was blue printed and balanced. We Used CP pistons with stock recondition, shot peened rods. ARP rod bolts were used and also ARP main studs were used. We used Race berings and had them coated. Factory toyota head gasket was used.

Turbo kit is a Kaizen Motorsports 60-1. I had this turbo kit put together about three months ago and I was waiting on a few odd ends. Turbo manifold is a Drewgo 2jz Manifold(great fitment and flow) with a Tial wastegate and a Drewgo modified downpipe. All of the Intercooler piping was redone to lose all the extra couplers from the first install. Ernie went to work on these pipes and they turned out amazing!

Here is a before picture:

Here is what it looks like right now. It still needs alittle more clean up, but this should give most an idea of what it will look like by tomorrow after it's all finished.

Yup that's the one! Almost all the pictures came from my camera. Aaron and I finished this car out of his garage LOL. This time around, the car has allot more time in to it, and more of my influence and Ernie's.

I forgot to mention that Ernie and I cut the throttle body and got rid of the trac stuff. I will take better pictures of the piping today. During the fabrication process, we didn't take any pictures, :runaway: We where busy this week with a T78 MK4 (NA-TT conversion/ wiring nightmare sorted out), 1JZ swap, 1JZ stock turbo change out, Taking apart three engines (2jz, 7M, SR20) :aigo: so no time to goof around.

BTW I have A video but it's 696 megs :nono: !

I’m trying to setup a dyno time for this setup, we have setup the first turbo kit with a 60-1 on this 2jz and can have it ready to go on a 1jz in no time. I hope I can get some dyno numbers on a some what stock 2jz and we can do it on a 1jz for comparison, that way there is no more speculation on what this turbo can do on a 2jz or a 1jz mk3 with good, real quality parts.
