do i have to get a really slinder funnel to pour the fluid into the tube where the dipstick is.I'm thinking thats where u pour the new transmission fluid?

There is a fill hole on the tranny casing and a syphon to suck the fluid out. Refill it through there or the easier way would be to do it through the shifter shole. Remove the boot and you will see what need to move. Leave the fill hole open until it starts to come out and u know it's full.
Auto or Manual?

Yes a small funnel is needed or a pump.
Go to the local parts store, and get a flexible funnel. Most of them have a step on the end that fits perfectly.
