Could you powder coat a turbo? Assuming you don't take it apart. Also would the paint hold up with the temps that the turbo will be? Thanks.

You can powdercoat the compressor side I don't think you can do the exhaust side though. You would need to take the turbo apart to do this but if your just doing the compressor housing it shouldn't be hard.

Do not powdercoat the insides.

What about having the turbine housing ceramic coated, or Jet Hot coated? I know with all of the parts I've had Jet Hot do they coat both the inside and outside of whatever it is. So since I'm planning to have some coating work done on my new turbo should I mention to them not to coat the inside of the the turbine housing?

You can mention it to them, but JetHot told me they wouldn't coat the inside of a turbine housing ;)
Ceramic won't stay put.
"TurboX" works well though.

I'm personally a fan of White Lightning, from Swaintech.
TurboX is brilliant
It's Satin and smooth to touch so cleans off so much better than their older product.

It sprayed on via static coating, and then baked at very high temps.
I for one am a fan of what Jdub offers. :-) I believe its the same as a swaintech coating....
An no - you can't powder coat the turbine. You can powdercoat the other parts. YES it needs to be taken apart before doing it.
