Is there a difference between the aristo harness and the US Spec 6sp harness? And are they're limitations with the aristo harness?

Yes,
I believe the Aristo Harness is Map based.
Us is MAF based.

usmkiv harness
Maf based
Extended for LHD Car
Wired for Resistor pack
Completely different wiring for the body
Igniter on the Left side of the car

im not 100% sure but the auto transmission from the aristo looked a lot different (output shaft, so maybe the plugs are different too) not sure if the mkiv's harness is seperated from the autos harness but i noticed right away the auto harness on the tranny is integrated into the aristos harness

my only problem with the aristos harness was the coil plugs were mush from the years of heat and needed new ones

what about when it comes down to like using a vpc or AEM is there any complications with the aristo harness

the vpc will depend on your ecu..

aem will work without issue on the aristo harness

aem piggy back? It will work i guess. No one has tried it that I know of. VPC can work, but isn't needed. A VPC Is a deviced used to convert a MAF Based car to a Speed density setup to eliminate the maf.

tissimo did something like that i think... why do you ask? are you looking for a non piggyback solution for 550's or something?

lol why didnt ya say so :D it doesnt matter if you use the MKIV harness or an aristo either way you need to wire in the body plugs. dr tweak is the easiest way imo
