NOTE!!: THIS IS NO LONGER JUST A CLUB THING. this thread is more about a meet now that goes on on wednesdays. however the meet is sponsored by the group. everyone can come and its actually a lot of fun. the first weds of the month is our main meet but we do meet every weds at 8pm at boardwalk entertainmet center. the following sat after the main meet we will be doing a cruise. if anyone has any questions please ask. A friend of mine and myself would like to start a car club up here in orlando base upon your cars generation runs into the 80's. this is for japan imports only but all makes and models are welcome as long as that gen is in the 80's for example a 1992 supra is ok because that generation started in 1986. my friend drives a 1986 300ZX and we feel it takes a special person not only to drive but to take the time to work with our cars and learn everything we can about them. I myself have a 1988 supra and I wouldnt trade it for the world. so for all you MKII and MKIII owners in or near orlando let me know if this club is something you might be interested in.

Hey thanks for the comment and invitation to your club, right now Im building my engine, Im also redoing my car system, I no longer have the wall of 6 12s this time Im going with 2 15s ma audio and some other stuff I have in mind. But I live in Ocala I usually go to Orlando to visit friends so it wont hurt to set up a day after Im done with my car to go a meet with you guys.

I'm definitely interested in the club even though i'm in Oldsmar (Tampa Bay area). My in-laws live in St. Cloud and I drive up there often.

hey guys just giving you an update... we are trying to start a meet in orlando at boardwalk entertainment center on SR50 we are trying to meet up on monday nights. anyone can come so tell as many people as you can. thanks guys.

My sister was telling me about this after she met you yesterday(she works at your apt complex).

I'd be down for an occasional meet. And if you're home Sat, I'll probably be stopping by the office to visit my sis at some point in my 87 Targa Turbo. Sounds like it has an exhaust, but it's really just a rusted out muffler that's getting replaced sometime this summer with a 3" turbo back.

awesome... whenever we figure out the time i will let you know... and tell anyone else you want to come, anyone can come the make or model doesnt matter, domestic / imports. everything is welcomed to the meet. my club that is sponsoring the meet is NEI and your car has to be a gen that year goes into the 80's. hope to see you there

ricers i dont know about since everyone is invited but we are trying to keep this a clean meet. no burn outs no racing things of that nature... as far as the cops we dont have to worry about them being there durring the week. plus the ones that are usually there for security know me since i work there. so we shouldnt have any problems.

plus i would really like to meet you and see your car... no every day you get to meet someone like yourself with a car like that.

It wasn't the copper, it was the original torque specs. Once replaced and properly torqued (or using ARP studs) there isn't a problem other than 20 year old internals and 30 year old technology (M series). But I'm sticking with my M even after I blow it up in a few years. I'm hoping to have a new engine ready to just drop right in.

alright everyone the meets are going great i hope it keeps getting bigger. so it looks like the first wednesday of the month will be our main meet for everyone who lives further away to be able to get their and meet up, and the following saturday will be our cruise. i just need to know if everyone would rather go for lunch or an early dinner. personally i think meet around like 6 and crusie for a while till the sun goes down. id like to meet up somewhere and cruise to somewhere not in east orlando so we can get somewhere new and possibly meet new people. who ever is on supraforums please post this on there so everyone can get an idea. i want suggestions on where to meet up and where to go.

yeah we are trying to make the first weds of the month for everyone who lives a bit further a way.... and/or the following saturday a cruise day were we all meet up and go somewhere a little different or meet up somewhere new... the longer we do this the better it will get.
