View Full Version : MKIII & MKIV 6 piston 14.25 inch Wilwood Front Brakes
As always this is a complete kit, this kit includes everything to bolt on the biggest front brakes available for a Supra. These are radial mount calipers and staggered vein rotors. This kit is specifically made to fit perfectly.
The price will be $2395 please expect a 2-3 week wait as I do not always stock these parts, as each component is almost twice what the other brake kits cost.
For drilled slotted and zinc plated rotors the price is $2545. Please see my website for photos and details
I will include more details later but heres a bunch of photos for now.
Heres a VIDEO (http://www.arizonaperformance.com/parts_photos/Brakes_front_MK3_14_inch/CIMG3460.AVI)of how I made the template. The template will follow soon.

fitment under mkiv TT wheels? i only ask because those are the rims i'll be using for auto-x, etc...I really dont think so because I tried 3 different 18's that didnt fit, oddly enough the FNO1RC 17's were closer to fitting than the other 18's that didnt fit. I do have a local guy here that has rear TT's all around on his MKIII and I will check those and cross my fingers for you. I will be making a template soon so you can check for yourself.
They really do look huge in person.

i was actually quite blown away at how huge they look in the pics that i forgot to compliment you on another amazing product. :) they look SICK!
if they don't fit under some 18's, i can't imagine them fitting under mkiv tt's, which are 17's.
though, your other 6 piston kit fits under mkiv tt's, as i recall, so i'll likely stick with those if i ever get my 'bucket back on the streets.

Very cool. That radial mount adapter is artwork! (Too bad it's hidden where you can not really see it.)
With the radial mount, you could turn down the rotor slightly, and move the caliper in slightly, and possibly clear more wheels? (The slight loss of tourqe effect, and swept area might be worth it to those who want to run more wheel options.)
Conversly, with some spacers, and even larger rotors, going out is only some washers and longer radial mount bolts away... :)
What size are those rotors? They look lighter than mine BTW.

Just when I thought I had saved up enough for your Big brakes , You come out with Bigger brakes. Any pics of the rear w/Parking yet? Is it going to be the type with a seperate little caliper like the lambo's?

Wow, the rotor hat and the caliper mount are both worth the price alone!
Nice work...too bad I already have the 4 piston kit...

Damm more awesome work. Just when i was thinking of ordering the norma six pots you do this to me. I think it will be too much unfortunatley with postage to the UK. Shame as they would fit my 19"s very well.
One way or the other i will be ordering very soon most likley the older 6 pots though.

Hey arz, we spoke on the phone a couple of weeks ago.
I have the 355mm (14") Brembo's on my MKIV and they clear my 18" x 10.5" CCW's. Is the mounting bracket taller than most or why is it that you think they will not fit most 18's? I was planning on running 18's on the track and would very much like to run the 14" instead of the 13's...
thanks

thanksI dont want to give everybody the wrong impression, I tried 3 different sets of 18's that didnt work, I would guess that most 18's DO work I will have a template soon so you can all make sure.
Thanks, everybody for the compliments.

Maybe you could make a list of rims known to work?
I want these down the road but I will have to get 18" rims since I'm currently on 17" but I don't know which to get and the availablility of car parts where I live means that I'll have to buy online and therefore can't check the clearances before buying.

When I was buying my brakes and rims, I found the Speed Star Racing, or SSR rims to have some of the best clearance around.
I have the SSR Comp's in 18", and they fit over brakes nearly the size of this system. (I'm pretty sure they would clear the brakes ARZ is building.)
Here they are on 14X 1.38" rotors wth GNIII calipers. There is quite a bit of room to go up slightly in rotor diameter, but not much spoke room on the GNIII as it has a rib that runs down the side of the caliper to resist being spread apart, and that will hit many/most spokes on many wheels.
If I was still in the market for brakes, I'd get this 14.25" kit from ARZ in a heartbeat. Very nice indeed, especially the radial mount setup. :) :)

My personal favorite is the FNO1RC's they have the very best weight/price ratio of any wheels I have seen, they make them in literally dozens of widths and sizes and about every combo you can think of in the 114.3 X 5 bolt pattern.
There are some other wheels that 5Zigen makes that have similar clearance and 6 spokes, too.

With the right offset and width, you can even run bigger rotors like 15.5" like http://www.turbosupras.com/pages/en/pages/specifications/MA70GA/ma70ga.htm :biglaugh:

So, how close were the 17" FNO1RC's to fitting? These are the wheels I wanted, and they look like they fit?
So, how close were the 17" FNO1RC's to fitting? These are the wheels I wanted, and they look like they fit? They were close, but they are so thin and the calipers so nice looking I would never consider grinding on either of them. If you have enough money to spring for 14 inch brakes you might just consider going with 18 inch wheels too. There are some very inexpensive 18's on ebay.
Also I wouldnt consider spacing the wheels out unless you installed race studs too.

I dont believe 17" wheel can fit a BBK with a +14" rotor.
Check my website for photos of the new 14 inch rotors avaliable.

They would look so good on my Aristo TT and on my Soarer TT.
Now I just have to decide which lottery numbers to select and which wheels to go for :)

Hey ARZ, can you help me out. I got a second had 6 pot set up from a member on this forum with the 14" rotors. They won't clear my 19" rims. Not much in it only a few mm. Will no how much tomorrow but do you think it is possible to grind of any of the lip on the calipers. Not too keen on spacers.
Here is the link to my post.

Wilwood does not offer these calipers anymore. I have responded to your questions here,
