Question about TEMS

How to tell if it is still functioning properly? I know this is a kinda retarded question but I just want to know. I like the purpose of the system and I want to lower my car, but all struts that are compatible cost an arm and a leg. I want to keep using it (if it works) and have a lower stance. What should I do?

I think there is a diagnostic procedure in the TSRM, I would check there first.

Here's what I did... probably not the most technical way to do it, but whatev.

1) Grab a friend to help.
2) Sit in your car.
3) Turn the key on to accesories.
4) Make sure your TEMS "normal" button is pressed.
5) Make your friend go to each corner of your car and press down to see how stuff the shocks are.
6) Now put it on "sport" mode and repeat the same thing.
7) If there's a noticeable difference in stiffness between the two, you know your TEMS is working.
