This swap is under way right now. We started the engine in the clip, like all you should do. It doesn't take much and its easy. It took Ernie and I about five minutes to test the clip and start it.
Reason for this 1jz swap being V2.0 is because this customer is not new to 1jz's. This would be his second 1jz and second car. We started off with a clean low mileage clip (46,xxx kilometers) getting first choice at clips coming out of Japan, this one came with a blitz tuned ecu and a hard pipe kit, witch will be replaced for a Kaizen custom hard pipe kit. Using the right tools, we make sure that all the torque to fasteners is correct and precise with a Snap-on digital torque wrench. (I love this tool!) Check out the pictures. I will add more as we go. We have three other 1jz swaps going on at the same time, and I will try to post those too. Enjoy for now!
