i was looking for a good spring combo for koni shocks and st sways. i read somewhere about just using any 2.5" id spring for them (i think i read hypercoil was an option). the car will be used for occasional autocross/roadrace and harsh ride isnt a concern. also i wanted a linear spring. any recomendations on spring length/rate?

Hypercoil are great linear springs. However giving an estimate for good rates to run requires a lot of information about the car which has been covered in about five other threads.

Like Kevin said it's hard to say what springs without a lot more information. But hypercoils would be the way to go. I also haven't tested the ST bars yet, I'm still waiting on them. And it depends on what rates the Koni's car handle. I am going to try and get shock data on those dampers, so I can figure out what springs will work with them.

What do you mean? In terms of spring rate? I've used 1000lb/in front, 600lb/in rear. But this is on a 3000lb supra with my dampers on it. I don't know if those rates will work for you or with the Koni dampers.
