Hey guys, i asked this over at supraforums and got no helpful responses so hopefully i can get some out of you guys. I want to know if i could use a cressida tb in place of my gte one since the cressida one is in much much better shape. I'm leaving the NA y pipes and going cressida style if ur wondering. I'm trying to get the egr system to work with the cressida tb, if i just block off the extra ports on the cressida tb should i be ok? or is there something different about the cressida tb? i included pics to help you guys understand waht i mean.

gte on left, cressida on right

and is part of a gte egr system?? i bought it from a fellow member who said it was from a gte but it has a total of 3 nipples and gte only has two from what it looks like in the trsm, could i just block the extra port?

have you measured the inside diameter of the tbs. I am just wandering if they are different?

same size same look, just those extra vaccum nipples. i plan to block them off but i just want to confirm with someone that it will indeed work for what i want it to do.

I did a similar project to my toyota truck and it passed emissions with no problem. I used a throttle body from a newer version of the motor and it had more vaccum outlets than my original. I just block it all off with rubber end caps and it looked legit. It didn't bother the smog technician on the visual and did not affect the testing portion either. So I don't see why it should be a problem here as well...the casting looks identical anyhow.
