So last setup on the Supra yield about 433 RWHP and 435 RWTQ. Nothing big but gave the supra a new feel with the HKS twins.

The HKS twins found a good new home but before I sold them I had my eyes on something different. Here is a small clue of what is to come.

Well I noticed today that the new engine is OBD2 fly by wire. Im going back to change it for an OBD1. The differences are huge in both engines. The turbo is similar to the CT26 witch should make upgrading it easy. I have more pics. Im just to busy with projects that I need to get back to work, I will post some more when I have some free time.

Well there is some of the VVTi engines in regular throttle cable form. This Engine I pickup was from a jzx110 Verosa so it's newer then 2000 model year. :naughty: This engine is way different in many ways over the twin turbo version. Who ever said it was weak is smoking some good stuff! Im checking out the turbo, and from the first looks of it, it's bigger then the CT26 in the Supra by a little bit. :evil2:

This engine has not been looked at yet here in the states, yes it's here but nobody has taken it seriously, it’s time we changed that. Speculations will be settled! :evil2:

Well I guess I will be puting off the Soapra for alittle bit. I will be getting the new engine soon, but I will need to Fix alot of things that are in need of attetion. the car has almost 300,000 miles! and needs to have alot of work done to the body. I'm getting a new front crossmember done and having the chasis spot welded.

One small update:

I'm figuring out some wiring at the moment, but I got this pic to share. I wanted to take off that 1jzgte that was writen on the cover but didn't want to come off. I figured it would get covered by the primer and paint but I guess it didn't end up that way. That little mistake just make it a good spot to put a sticker on!

Small update.

I got sick of looking at the car in the garage, so I towed it back to the shop. Im working on it during the night, after everyone leaves and the phone stops ringing. wiring is coming together slowly. I want to hear it run first, later the car will be painted but will get the treatment it needs. (sandblast entire car,stitch welding etc...)

I was fortunate enough to get a ride in the soapra on a leadfoot day (or is that everyday for Jose) and MY GAWD is that vvti setup amazing! U owe me a new set of ears Jose.....screeching the tires while I sat in the r32 gtr to make it a even match..shame on you!

Well I was out of the shop for a few days with a mild case of spinal menangitis, but before I got sick ( I felt it coming) i managed to baseline dyno my car. Car still has same fuel delivery, same catback and same intake. Only difference is the engine.

I cant find the stock TT 1jz dyno I had, but the power level was the same or close to it. Only difference is how soon VVTi gets you torque. Right before 2900 the car is making as much torque as my TT 1jz was making at 4300 RPM. The engine feels smoother and Rev's faster then the TT 1jz. I'm going to turn up the boost as is only at 0.8 bar right now and want to know what it does at 1.1 bar, on the stock turbo. I will update this later on. I have to find out what is leaning out the Af's (13.0) from 2900 to 5000

:aigo: wow that torque comes in soon. That is a night and day difference. Looks like it gets more torque than the 1JZ TT, even more if it was cooler. I think im starting to get a 1JZ bug too..
