I would like to compile the different rates of what setups are available on the market. So lowering spring rates, coilover spring rates, etc. I know I found a good list a while back, but I'm not sure if that is accurate anymore or if many of the setups are still sold.

I will also be going into how to pick spring rates, what goes into the selection and how to balance the car with them.

Adding to this as this will help with the information.

Brought to you by none other than Claude Rouelle.

(For those of you that are math challenged, forgo this and brush the math/physics skills up as this goes DEEP into mathematical equations and some physics).

Link posted on post 2 is no good.

Any updates? Maybe the link was moved somewhere?

That link was probably moved here: http://www.mkiiitech.com/forum/showthread.php?t=116

My post in that thread also has dead links. The current links are:

lower spring rates:

coilover spring rates:

Note that that info is from ~2004-2005. I also only used the spring rates for the 89+ stock springs...
