View Full Version : Its been awhile 1/4mi times on stock turbos

I just pulled off my best time since starting racing this spring. Last weekend I ran a 12.00 with a 1.73 60ft and trapped at 114.9mph at 17psi. With another 4psi I can squeeze out of my twins that should put me easily high to mid 11's. Its been awhile since I've been on supramania and since I had my mk3 sorry guys. Tejon

One of our locals just ran like a 10.9 with a horrible 60' and a slipping tranny. They will be breaking the 10.8 record very soon.

No spray.

The stock twin record with spray is like a 10.4 which I believe was done with either a 75 or a 150 shot. After they break the no nitrous run, I'm sure they'll have the 10.4 with nitrous in the bag. They still have another .2 to take out of the 60' and who knows how much faster they can go with more boost and timing.

We went to the local 1/8th mile track on friday and they were able to get their 60' down to a 1.63 or so with the ebrake fully engaged for the whole run, after that the tranny was toast so they'll have to replace that and we'll see what they do in a week or two!

No my car is an auto and before anyone starts clounin an auto is way faster and proovin at the track, I have a 3,800 stall and B&M tranny oil cooler up front with a spal fan. I know with my new AEM tru-boost controller I can crank out 4 more psi and be high to mid 11's.NO spray I do have a full wet kit thought waiting for my single.

Don't work yourself up man, there is a reason that after I go single, the next mod is going to be a Chevy auto.

i went 12.6 @ 113 2.1 60' in a mkiii w/ 2jz stock turbos.. pretty slow :/

Just how much is the 2JZGTE version of the A340E holding without problems?
