Just installed the BIC turbo back!!!

I love the sound of this exhaust.....very deep and throaty.

I have a question though.....should I lose torque with this exhaust?? It feels like there isnt as much torque but I cant determine horsepower obviously. And also on the wideband bung, does it need a gasket for the bolt since Im not currently using a wideband??

I am by no means disappointed in this exhaust, it's just that the car feels somewhat slower that what it used to be.

BTW in case you forgot I installed the DDP, Test Pipe, and the Thunder cat back with the resonator.

No you shouldnt loose any TQ with the exhaust. You might want to try to reset the ecu, so it can relearn to run with much less back pressure, just pull the efi fuse in the engine bay for a minute or two.

No you dont need a gasket for the wideband plug, just make it nice and snug.

Apparently I wasnt losing power, but I just wasnt taking it into the higher rpms, I took this thing into like 6500 and it sure does wake up around 4k rpm....its just now I cant keep it from hitting fuel cut in 3rd and 4th gear. I made a thread about it in the turbo tech section, if youre interested.

It was a ebay downpipe with the stock elbow and a 2.5 catback with the cat before.

This exhaust is 3" at the DDP and 3" test pipe and 3.5 catback

you will loose a little low end in the very low rev range, i find that with turbo cars even with the turbo you loose some in that range but what you gain just before spool and after spool makes up for it in every way.
