fuel pressure up vsv

when i was takeing the head off i must have broke the air filter off on the fuel pressure up vsv will my car still run correctly with out the air filter on it until i can buy a new one

You're talking about the little cylinder-shaped black filter? If so, then yes, the car will run fine without it.
