Well I have been wanting to post pics up for a while now but been so busy.....Project Cherry widebody I started about 10 months ago, with a stock bodied 87, with the wild 90's TRD paint scheme. The car belongs to Brad, AKA Tekdeus here on SM. Here is the list of mods that it is under going to fit the gigantic 18x9, -7mm offset front wheels and 18x10.5", -10mm offset JDM Work wheels:
- Kaze Rear fiberglass widebody fenders
- Custom widened stock front fenders
- Modified Bomex replica front bumper, fill front and side ducts
- Modified Kaminarri rear bumper to fit the wide body fenders
- S2 side skirts
- Custom wing
- CarbonfiberFX raised cowl hood
- Smoothed stock 89+ moldings
- Custom LED 89+ taillights
- Foam filled rocker panels
- Lots more.........
Here is a link to more pics of the build, I wont post them all as there is way to many: http://www.bicperformance.com/pics/Project%20widebody/

The front fenders were rolled and wedged, pulled out about 2-2.5" over stock. The wedging wasnt quite enough to cover the tire so I had to slit the fender along the top for that extra 1/2" that was needed.

Now for the rear. The Kaze fenders also werent wide enough to cover the tires and had to be pulled out about another inch, about 3" total over stock. The stock weel opening had to be trimmed about 2" higer than stock to accomadate the wide wheels and extra low ride height.

I finnaly was able to do a mock up with all the parts installed to get an overall look of the car. It is quite a mix of different brand parts but they really work well togeather.

Yeah. That thing is gonna be sooo sick when finished. Only thing I personally don't like is the Kaminari Rear but that's just me and I'm sure I will think it looks awesome even with it.
Are those Work VS-XX wheels? Love em.

Makes a normal "wide body" supra look like a Nicole Richie. That'll look amazing after paint. Any word on the color? ...somewhere between black and white? ;)
