Well I have noticed that solid motor mounts are hard to find and nobody has any for us with the pre 89's with the square mounts, so BIC performance has just finnished the prototypes for the pre 89 and the round 89+ mk3's. Both types are direct fit bolt on parts, the pre 89 mounts even have the correct offset of the studs to fit the chassis perfectly just like stock. Grade 8 hardware is included with all mounts. I will probably do a group buy if there is enough interest.

The pre 89 square type solid motormounts are $120,
89+ solids are $90.
I am trying to keep the pre 89 poly mounts under $150.

These are now available for order on our website www.bicperformance.com

we also made a prototype set of Polyurethane pre 89 mounts that i am testing in my car right now. More custom mounts/bushings and parts are also in the works.

So, if we have a pre-89 car, but your JZ adapter brakets, do we still have to buy your pre-89 ones or would you be able to go JZ just with the 89+ mounts?

Maybe I just missed it but will you be making 89+ poly mounts as well? I am looking for some but have not been able to find any. :nono:

I will be doing the folllowing for sure: pre 89 solids, pre 89 poly mounts, and 89+ solids. I will be working on making 89+ semi solid/ poly but that probably wont be for a month or so. I am also working on a poly trans mount, it should be ready in a few weeks. I am running the full poly setup in my car including motor mounts and trans mount, and the BIC Nylon subframe spacers.

I have 1 set of 89+ solids and three sets of pre 89 solids ready to ship right now.

Look in first post.

If i buy the pre 89 mounts, will i also need to buy the brackets as well?

Care to elaborate?, do you mean a package deal with the BIC JZ brackets?. I will give you a $10 discount if you buy the brackets and solid mounts together.

These are bolt on replacement motor mounts that will work with the stock brackets, if you have an 89+ chassis you need the 89+ mounts. They will also work with the oem JZA70 brackets and they are drop in replacement for the mk4 2jz motor mounts. If you have the pre 89 chassis with the square mounts you need the pre 89 mounts.

how much for the first set of 89+ i have money in my hand...

The 89+ solids are $105 shipped anywhere within Canada and USA, pm me for payment info.

You rock BIC. I'll be lurking in here waiting for poly pre '89s and poly tranny mounts to be ready to ship out.

The tranny mounts are the same regardless of year, correct?

Yes I am still testing them, I just went to the race track last friday and they preformed great. I hope to have some more ready for sale in a few weeks.

TLO86- just got your order, they will be shipped out today or tomorrow, you'll see the mounts in about a week or less.

Randy, how's the vibration vs stock, with the polys (pre '89)?

Not worried about it, just curious. I'll be down for poly motor mounts and a poly tranny mount :)

There is more vibration than the stock mounts, but not nearly as much as full solid mounts. I would say they are about 60% stiffer than stock. I hope to have the production versions of the poly motor/ trans mounts ready in about two weeks.

Sorry guys, I have been so busy with the finishing touches on "Project Cherry Widebody" . The prototypes have been on my car for a few months now and work great. I hope to have the production versions ready before the end of the year.

Since you are making solid motor mounts, have you thought about making a solid transmission mount in addition to the poly mount currently in development?

just wanted to say that the solid mounts are not as harsh of a ride as you think they would be. some of you have been following my swap to a 2jzgte these past few months and i bought the solids 4 months ago. i forgot i had them on when i drove out, the vibration was so minimal i noticed it felt better than my 7m. even people ive taken in rides cant believe that they are solid mounts and i have to show them hehe.

i cant wait for the 89+ poly mounts
