Hey, I have one of your DDP's on my 89T... After putting on the big exhaust I want to keep the DDP effect, but I dont want AS MUCH noise. Do you have any ideas or maybe you can help me with some info on making or buying a muffler for the wastegate pipe?

I might have something for you, Armando. I bought a very free flowing 3" exhaust from MDC, but it was a bit loud for the wife. I pulled the muffler off and replaced it with a POS to get me by until I can afford a Tanabe or HKS Drager.
Anyway, this is a GOOD muffler - I believe $300 new, or so. It's got a small dent from mounting under the car, but no holes and works great. Comes with a few feet of mandrel bent 3" pipe, too. It's nice and small for an application like this. Here are the details I got from Jon:
As for the muffler,

(Should be the grand am 3")

I was eventually going to put this up for sale with a $125 asking price if it looks like it might serve your needs. Just an idea...

A 3'' muffler is not going to work on the wastegate pipe. Try looking for a small muffler 1.5'' to 2'' to put on the wastegate pipe. Im not sure of how small mufflers get, but I have heard of some people trying motorcycle mufflers.

Yeah, she wouldn't ride in it until I knocked a bunch of db's off of it. Thank God for SHM and Dragger's...

The wastegate piping size is 1 5/8" OD, one of those motor cycle silencers should work fine.
