well i thought id take a few pics of my car before i tore it down to get ready to paint. i think this is the actual first time ive posted any pics of my car on here.

Aww man! I though I was gonna be the only one on here with an 86.5 running a 1JZ! Maybe I'll just be the only one with a 1JZ, Super Monitor, 89+ JDM Tails, and 86.5-88 front bumper. LOL.

thanks for the comments guys, and right now im debating on whether to paint the engine bay the same color as i am the body, or to paint it in a black, dunno yet.

and ya, the lip is staying that color no matter what

took a few new pics of the car, painted the engine bay black, got a new set of rims, and got the seats from Jon(gotturbos?).

what did you do to paint the engine bay.. pull everything out but the block and head?

bingo, and even with that it was still a PITA

if i could do it over, id pull the motor

that's what I thought... I'm just thinking about doing a full underhood cleanup, but I don't really want to pull the motor again.. maybe when it comes out for forged internals and a mhg....
