Just getting started on offering some unique items and services on a more serious basis.. thanks to all past customers and your great feedback.
Thanks to Reign for the go-ahead :)
This is an idea of what I would like to start out with offering to the Supramania community.
-Solid 89+ Engine mounts
-3.0 GT Turbo and Turbo A replica decals
-2.5 GT Twin Turbo and TT-R replica decals
-Custom fanshrouds to boost electric or stock fan performance
-Intercooler blockoff plates
-Metric Plugs to fill 1JZ rad sensor, other random holes on A70
-NGK 6097 plugs (6) for JZ, will stock and ship for $55 a set shipped priority
As well, I am able to order in special orders and have them air mailed or on container freight depending on size and weight, and have the ability to acquire entire Japanese cars also. I have over the years brought about $20,000 in parts and $200,000 in cars over the ocean, so I will be able to handle your needs.
Finally, just like everyone, I will have spares and extra parts up for grabs.
Please post ideas forany other products I can look into acquiring or producing.
Thanks!
Evan

Yes, yes you do. there is actually one that has been sitting for a year around here that I once imported. 1JZ swap, and a Do-luck kit in need of some TLC.

Hey Evan, I am very interested in this fan shroud your mentioning. Is it for a dual e-fan setup, just one fan? How's fitment in an A70 chassis with a 1JZ, and are you using them on a stock or aftermarket radiator?
Reason I ask is I have a fluidyne radiator I'm using now and I just have one 14" fan on it, but want a dual fan setup. I'm concerned about fitment b/c the fluidyne is thicker than the stock unit, and on the intake side the IC pipe is very close to the radiator, actually touches the bottom of the radiator. Would like to see your setup, or what you can make for me.
Thanks.

Mine is a dual S blade fan, very powerful. My friend has one of these shrouds, just a single 14 inch on a stock rad SR20 S13, and temps never move.
It's very thin, to make room for intercooler pipes, and the crank pulley itself. My rad is Koyo, excuse the mess from wet-sanding dust on it.
Excuse the ziptie mounting for now

Which 3.0 GT decals are you selling? The ones that say turbo A and go on the door, or the ones for the rear moulding?
garagefujimoto
September 18th, 2007, 07:24 PM
The door ones. I could get the A added, but I chose to got with 3.0 GT Turbo as that would be correct for 99% of the cars.

Garagefugimoto,
Send me a PM with the payment totals and details.
1J,
Don't live there, just work there, live on the other side of town (far less shootings!!!). It makes it much easier to have 'unauthorised' purchases (read: wife) delivered to work, then they can be transported home to the garage, installed and no-one is the wiser :biglaugh:

Have you given much thought to the under engine cover?
It wouldn't have to go as far under the engine as the stock one, really I think it would be good if it went from the airdam to the bottom of the core support. This and the other blockoff plate you sell would insure no ambient air would wash out and all would flow through intercooler, condenser, and radiator.
Just my .02.

Have you given much thought to a lower blockoff plate?
With the upper and lower, you could insure no ambeint air flow "washing out" and all flow going through intercooler, condenser, and radiator.
Just my .02

The car already has a plastic undertray, and although you could make a metal one, it would be a bout 3 X 3 feet, and cost more than it's value to ship.

The plastic undertray, you mean the one no one has any more because it was such a pita. I think the length and overall size had alot to do with why alot have gone by the wayside. I don't know any mkIII owner with it installed and have only physically seen it once un-installed.
The distance from the front air/dam bumper to the bottom of the core support is probably less than a foot.
Go back and read the post, either one.

interested in the 2.5 decals. please post pics when available. is this a door one or the rear left one. I hope it's like the 3.0 one for the door. I've never seen one. just out of curiosity, what is the latest model year supra you can get in japan and where would I look for pricing?can you get them? I've heard they made them for 2or 3 years later in japan than elswhere. I live in florida so registering should not be an issue. thanks in advance.

The sticker is gonna be a pair of 3.0 door decals, just re-worded for the 1JZ.
JZA80 continued to 2002 iirc, I only really do cars to Canada however, but I will investigate FL.

thanks,Evan. When the door decals are made LMK I want a set. If they look as good as the 3.0 then we're good.
As for the mkIV,Please check into how I might obtain one and where could I shop for one I would hope I could find one @ a reasonable cost. I'm still shopping for one here in the states. So, don't go way out of your way. I think even if I don't go that route, maybe someone else on here would be interested.May be profitable to you. I've not heard of any newer than 98 even in Canada. I know someone there would LOVE to be driving a 2002 Supra. I wonder what,if any changes there were.:icon_bigg

Hey whats up. I was wondering about your bringing cars over from Japan. Are they usuable on the street? Like do they clear customs and smog and the safety requirements, or are they for off-road use only? Because I too can bring cars over but for off-road use only and was looking for how to clear them w/ the govt.
Thanks bud!

January 13th, 2008, 11:37 PM
Cars of 15 years of age and older from the production date can be imported, and after being registered, inspected and insured, may be put into everyday use in Canada.
Grimsta
January 13th, 2008, 11:54 PM
OOOOh, your in Canada. So then let me pose a scenerio to see if can exploit a loophole.
So... if you can do that and the car can be legally put to use in Canada, can someone in the US then buy the car and use it everyday since it was legalized in Canada? Or would it still have to meet US safety standards?
PS, I saw you tell Jose you know what Kaizen means and that you hope he lives up to it. I too know what Kaizen means, so i take it you know what Zankoku means. Do you hope I live up to it? ;)
TurboFreak
January 13th, 2008, 11:58 PM
It still has to meet US safety standards. And you being in Cali...man...you either need a lot of money or a lot of balls.
Grimsta
January 14th, 2008, 12:06 AM
Its the balls man, cuz it definately ain't the money, lol.
Cali sux, but you can import them easily, pretty cheaply too. At least I know how, but then getting them legalized is a different story. Personally I'd keep my GT-R or S15 for racing, so Off road use only isnt such a big deal for me
