i have been looking at borg warner alot lately. since it seems like garrett's prices are going up more rather than down. know of anyone running the S472 or S475 turbo? i heard its comparable to the GT42 or the PT74. i cant seem to find much online about them. any info would be great. -Brian

heh heh. Borg Warners are amazing turbos! My friend works at a shop he knows a lot more about them than I do. So I'll have him get on my account tomorrow and post for you. If i were to ever go single i would use a borg warner.

There's a Supra here in Muskegon, MI that has a borg warner turbo with M trim. Saw it on eBay recently and I think xceedspeed.com's forum. You could probably contact the seller.

yeah i have a borg warner on my diesel truck and i am really pleased with it. just trying to find people that use them on gas engines is a little tougher.

^ SHOOSH!

IF YOU DON'T KNOW, DON'T SPEAK!

s300 or s400 series are good turbos. Garrett copies with newly designed compressor fins. Holset copy turbines (most of the time).

IIRC the s400 flows about 60lbs of air.

Plenty of parts out there to rebuild them too!

******Edit, I have attached a comp map for the s400.

Yeah a wittle tooo big.

I know Borg Warner makes different housings for the S400 line. Take a t4 foot print one and have a local machine shop mill it out for you.

would a 75 be a better choice? the guy also has setup with a 75 on compressor side.
