When I went to the local auto shop i got a resurfaced flywheel for like 35 + 30 core charge. so like 60-70 dollars in the end
k so go to like a local napa or? im really in confusion on this one as to how i even managed to crack my flywheel

BorHor is right, get a resurfaced flywheel, actually i have one in my closet for a turbo motor so i dont think it will work for you. i was going to use it in my truck. originally i bought the car as a donor for the truck but i fell in love with my supra even though its a piece of crap and a automatic.

Carquest sells flywheels for decent prices.
I kinda think im screwed and should just give up and buy a new motor, the parts for this car in northern alberta are damn expencive anyways, and i think the cars gonan be dead for a while. ive been lookin for like half an hour no one in town has used or resurfaced flywheels for this car

Then buy a new one.
My new oem replacement was 70 bucks U.S. .

The price your being quoted is probably including labor
Changing the flywheel shouldn't add more than 1/2 hour tops to the labor charge for changing the clutch. They're already there. Maybe that price is clutch, flywheel, labor and all?

560 is way too much to pay for a new flywheel. Aftermarket ones are usually cheaper, used/resurfaced ones are even cheaper.

I agree, the price is probably including the clutch labor which should be flat rate and not by the hour meaning whether they get it done in an hour or a day the labor is the same.
I put a fidanza in my car and Im happy with it but your car is allready at the dealers and they usually won't install aftermarket parts due to liability and warranty issues.
so ive done some talking to the dealer and my dad and such who all has used clutchmasters flywheels and clutches? otherwise im going fidanza/act combo anyone done this before? is it wise to use a used flywheel and a good aftermarket clutch i can get a used one for 70$ plus shipping, there prices where not with labour just parts
