GT35R Compressor Wheel Replacement

Well, it appears that my GT35R compressor wheel ate itself...I highly doubt something was sucked into the intake tract. One of the compressor fins appears to have broken off, causing catastrophic damage to the rest of the fins.

Now...apparently Garrett does not sell the compressor wheel by itself...you have to buy an entire centre section (damn near the cost of a new turbo). My question is...is it possible to use a compressor wheel from another turbo in-lieu of a genuine GT35R wheel?
