If you do, can you help me? There is a little two pin plug, one wire is red I believe and the other wire is purple... Where does the purple wire go?

Thank you Joe...

Ok, so it says its the speed signal wire... Now that wire was routed over to where my ecu is... Does anyone know which wire on the harness *pre89* is the "speed signal" wire?

I would have to look tomorrow after work. I have one on my 87 and it works great I just cant remember where I wired it. What color wire are you looking for exactly?

I just hooked up mine 2 days ago. The purple wire is the e-brake wire and the brown wire is the speed sensor wire. I am positive, because I tied up the brown wire and connected the purple to the e-brake switch and tested. It shuts the car off when the e-brake is dropped while the tt is keeping the car running.

Read the owners manual.... My brown wire is connected to the e-brake...

The brown is definately for the e-brake.

The purple is the speed sensor. You don't need the purple for it to work. I think its a lot of work to get it to the speed sensor but I don't know for sure because I didn't do it.
