Intercooler Install Question...

Hello all,

When you install your Intercooler did you have to remove the bumper support?

What modifications did you have to make? I'm in the middle of trying to insall mine and the shop is telling me that I have to remove of cut my bumper support. ARRRGH! :icon_evil

It depends on how big the IC is. There are ones that would fit with out cutting anything though.

Don't cut the bumper, you could be in some serious shit if you rearend some one.

12"x24"x4" installed without having to cut my bumper. The hood latch support has to be modded, but not the bumper....

I have a Trust IC. Direct replacement for stock. No cutting bumper support. Didn't even have to remove the bumper to install it. It's a little dirty(came off a clip) but it works well and does the job.

So what a good normal priced hard pipes-IC Kit for the 7M.

I'm not really feeling this kit I have.....I don't want to do any mods.....looking for very close bolt-on.

Latch support mods are EASY.
