Anyone know how much the 2JZ weighs with no manifolds or accessories? I am going to get my engine and I have to get it into my van. I am thinking around 350-400 pounds. Just trying to see if three or four guys could muscle it into a van or whether I will need a hoist. This is just the block and head.

Oh yea, 2 or 3 guys could definitely do it. It took 3 of us to move a 454, so a 2jz should be easily doable.

That is what I was thinking. I had him remove everything from the motor so it would be lighter and so I could lay it on its side on the exhaust studs in the van.

My brother in law and I lifted a 7mgte into the back of a truck a couple of times. We're not body builders.

Wow, a 454 in a supra. Do you have any pictures?
Don't hurt youself Mr. Snow, but you will be able to handle it with some help.
Just kidding about the 454.

I helped moved some 5M and 7M blocks around the other day (guts still inside). It wasn't so bad. I know the 5M head is heavy for being alloy, I don't think I could pic up a 5M with the head on it still.
I know my hubby and williamb82 picked up a full dressed 5M (with accessories and intake manifold) from the ground and put it into the back of a pickup truck. They weren't happy about it though, heh. Definitely a job for about 3 guys
