I have a 89 supra turbo auto to 5spd swap. It currently has the auto ecu in it. The car was tuned with the auto ecu in. When I bought the car he gave me a m/t ecu. If I put this ecu in would it affect the apex neo tune. The reason why I want to switch is I am getting a code for the hac sensor and I want to see if it my ecu.

provided your ECUs have grey plugs, then the HAC is internal....meaning you have a bad ECU.

swapping ECUs shouldn't affect your tune....provided you tuned the low throttle map to satisfy Vf....

Well I bought the car this way. With the apex neo already tuned. Honestly I have never used one of these before. The previous owner had it installed and tuned but I am afraid to take it back to the same shop to have it retuned. I do believe that the plugs on the ecu are the same. I will check tonight when I get home. I thought 89+ had the internal HAC?

why are you afraid to take it back for a retune?

read my prev post, yes, '89+ ECUs have internal HAC.

I sent you a PM. Thanks for you help I will let you know on the ecu what happens. I hope to get to it this weekend. Newborn baby+Full time job+supra=no free time!
