View Full Version : CT26 manifold for a 2JZ?

I am about to do a 2JZ swap and going to a big single conversion to fit it in my LHD car would be a little out of my budget, but if you could make me a manifold like the one you made for the 1JZ than it would fit my budget perfectly!

Let me know if we can work something out??

PS. Everything else should fit from the 1jz kit right? (Oil lines)

someone already makes a kit to adapt a t04 housing to the stock twin manifold.

Like Matt mentioned, there are several options already out there for the 2jz.
The 1jz manifolds were made in a batch of 15 units, I couldn't do that for one piece.
I'm not sure how close it would be to fitting on the 2jz, but I do have the stock collector, I'll take a look at it.

Where can I find this part?

i wonder how much power a upgraded CT on a 2jz would churn.. and the TQ?! amazing to see.

And with the flow on the 2jz head compared to the 7m, it would be insta-spooling.

um frankly it would POINTLESS. when the twins are making over 400hp with no problems on the 2j why would you put a small single that even upgraded and pushed to the limits will make barely 450. absolutely pointless.

I actually kinda agree with Idealsupra on this one. On a 1jz you are increasing the horsepower capability some with a ct26, and also the reliability. But on a 2jz the stock twins can make more power then a ct26, and if you are going to put a single on it the smallest turbo I would recommend is a 61mm. The 2jz has no problem spooling a turbo capable of 600hp.

What about usung a ct26 in a na-t 2jz conversion. I recently got a gs300 and this idea peaked my interest

I'd rather use one of the NA-T kits that are already available.

a Ct26 would require yet another manifold to be designed. The GE head is not the same as the GTE head.
