What he said. You'll need to hang off the thing like you want to break it, they are REALLY hard to get off.

^ Thats weird, I just used a flathead screwdriver and pushed in on the clips. It still required a little tugging but I didn't need to He-man yank it.

I wouldn't advise pullin all that hard. The thing practically pops out. No offense Grim.
- Get a flathead
- Pop it into the FRONT of the maplight trim and pry lightly. You could use your hand to avoid damaging the headliner once you get room.
- It will come off easily and the maroon/blue/grey trim is just a cover, not an electrical unit. The Actual unit will remain bolted up by two screws.
- Remove the crapped out bulb, toss it and pop in the new one.
- Be careful to only pry the trim and not the unit since you don't want to break that part, it does not pop off, since it had those two bolts holding it in securely.
- Pop the trim back on by doing the back first and then snap in the front.

Lol, I'm not sure, but I think some are different than others, both of mine came off easily for me and some of the people here say say it was difficult, in cluding you. Since I don't doubt you guys, then I'm jus thinkin some are hard and some aren't.
It's like the car I'm parting out. The one I'm keeping...all of the parts are tight and harder to remove or work with. The parts car? Everything comes out easily. For example, After cracking the upper control arm bolts to take out the front shocks, the bolts slid out on the parts car. The good car required some "finesse" :3d_frown:
