:1zhelp: Can anyone tell me where the two smaller vacuum hoses go that are on top of the pump.Also what do they do?One of them seem to have alot of vacuum when I turn the wheel where the hell does it go:1zhelp: I do now have power steering but it still has some resistance,it that just the way it is?I installed a new rack and pump also cleaned out the line real good.Plus cleaned the filter[screen]

It think it has something to do with the idle-up device.
Here's a description of it:

It's just an air bleed that's activated by the pwr steer pump, one end is plumbed to the intake the other to the accordian hose.
You turn it opens a valve which raises the idle speed so it doesn't stall or lugg the motor.

Just make sure you plug it at the Intake and at the accordian hose if you're deleting it or your car will idle high.

^lol:biglaugh:. You should keep it the way it was suppose to be and reconnect the two vacuum hoses.
