Hello,

Sorry about the long thread...
But I want to find out exactly what's wrong, what needs to be done...
To start off - when I bought the car, it drove great. Drove over 200 miles to see it, then drove it back home, used it as my DD for around 2 months until it started acting up.

It still runs nice and quiet, but definitely is lacking some power.

Things wrong:
*Speedo / trip calc don't work - check engine / OD is always on or blinking.
*Turbo is apparently missing a spoke? (what shop said)
*It lags A LOT - and shifts very rough.
*Overheated once.
*Makes a bubbling / electric-sounding noise - comes from the right front

Thanks in advance for any help!

Overheat + bubbling noise probably equals blown head gasket. Time for compression check and leak down test.

Speedo/trip odo = bad speedo cable

Turbo missing a "spoke"? New terminology to me, but if you've got turbo problems time to talk to MDC Motorsports about setting you up with a rebuild. Could go a long way in explaining lag if the fins are messed up, and surprising that you are boosting at all.

Don't try to boost anymore with that turbo man, you're just going to mess things up more. In fact, park the car and check to make sure you don't have a BHG before you do more damage. Search is your friend on the rest ;).
