It's almost done, it revs and idles so nice you almost couldn't tell it wasn't tuned yet!

Here's some of the highlights:
1jz engine swap with 5 speed conversion
Stinger standalone
Modified 7m-gte engine harness for Stinger on the 1jz
40kv ignition coils running on 7m-gte ignitor with custom wire set and mounting bracket
Tanabe Hyper Medallion catback
3" high flow cat with cast stainless flanges
Driftmotion downpipe with Bosch wideband for Stinger
Modified 2jz-ge ps reservoir to fit mk3
Manifold and turbo piping ceramic coated by Jdub
Samco radiator hoses
Driftmotion 1jz intercooler kit
Spal electric fans, controlled by Stinger
Driftmotion Aeromotive AFPR kit
Greddy Profec S boost controller
MK4 TT motor mounts
Driftmotion braided stainless clutch line

As soon as we can drive it and it has the FN01-R wheels on it. All that is left now is to bleed the brakes (they disconnected ALL the brake lines in the engine bay to paint it :cry:)

It's chrome ceramic coated ;)
Yes it was bead blasted prior to coating, and all the visible rough edges/casting marks removed.

Bruce is a friend of mine...that engine bay is looking outstanding :bigthumb:

:biglaugh: Yeah, that's Dave! His screen name is DLM on here, but he doesn't post much. I've known Dave for a long time, we used to both be into off-road prerunners before we got Supras, but he moved to Utah recently :(

Read a little closer Ric...it's a Ceramic Chrome. Night & day difference vs powdercoat. This stuff is rated at 2000 deg F...on an intake manifold it will never fade, discolor or chip. Makes cleaning a breeze too ;)

We are VERY impressed with the ceramic coating Jdub does. It's flawless. He does the inside and the outside too. On low temp parts like intake manifolds it should be shiny for many years to come. On high temp parts like turbo exhaust housings and exhaust manifolds, it will loose some of the shine, but it still looks nice and it will not rust. Plus, on the turbo housing and downpipe it makes more horsepower and lowers the engine bay temps.

JW I got to see Bruce's car in person a couple weeks ago. It is amazingly clean. I just got done putting my Z back together with all new or replated parts and it does look amazing. After doing it yourself you get a huge appreciation for how much work is into that car the paint job alone outside and in the engine bay looks like more than a 10 grand paint job.

By shear chance Bruce was in Pomona also and I finally got to meet him while I was at Driftmotion with my broken turbo pluming. Under the hood and all around the car looks clean as hell.

Jose joked "Hey its our first Arizona Meet" LOL!!! Me, my wife, and Bruce, it was the biggest Arizona turnout at Driftmotion ever, LOL!

I ran out of time before the show I went to. I really wanted to get some items to you for ceramic coating, but ran out of time. I will eventually.

I picked up my car from Driftmotion yesterday and drove home. It looks GREAT and runs strong!!! No regrets.

I had Reserve duty today. Of course I took the newly jazzed up Supra. All of the gearheads in the group were very impressed. Driftmotion has done a wonderful job!!

Next on the list will be some new coilovers and then the interior.
