does anyone know the proper way to take the dash out of a 3rd gen without messing stuff up?

unplug and remove the switch pannel (to the left of the steering wheel)
take off the steering wheel
take off the blinker/wiper assembly behind the steering wheel (4 screws)
take off shift knob
remove cover around AC controls/radio
remove rubber shift boot & remove shifter
remove gauge cluster
disconnect the plastic holder on the speed-o cable
remove bottom air duct (where drivers legs go)
remove glove box, ecu and skid computer
un do all screws and nuts that are exposed
get a friend and slide dash out, once loose, tilt the bottom up and slide it out the passengers side
keep an eye on the hand brake when removing.
I've pulled 4 dashes this way but this is by memory alone so I may have missed something though. Just be careful and don't force anything.
fun part is puttingit back in. my custom fiberglass dash....

other than fixing the big-ars crack in the dash, nope. I'm going to paint it and put the mk4 supra script where the passenger vent was. Then clear over it:love:
