I think it would be a good idea to develop a reasonably priced complete oil cooler kit with all of the fittings, nice lines, mounting hardware, and an option to include a remote filter kit. I think it would sell well, infact i was just looking for such a kit and it looks like its going to be expensive to put something together. Just an idea, feel free to bash me guys and tell me i didnt do enough research.

Not many people would be willing to dump $500 for an oil cooler kit.

which is why im asking for something reasonably priced, But, if it is something really well put together, and goes for 500, youd be foolish to pass it by. Maybe you think that its not a big upgrade, but its cheap insurance.

I know its good insurance, my kit I put together was more than that.
I am just saying I don't think most people would be willing to fork out that money for a kit. But it is a good idea.

does anyone have a link with all the lines (and lengths) and fittings needed to do a decent setup?

We are going to be making an oil cooler kit for sure, but it will be the next time we get a 7m and/or 1jz project car up on the lift to measure it all out on. It takes too much time to make a complete kit on a car you are not already doing an install on. My oil system will be getting a big upgrade on my new engine build which will be hopefully started by the end of the week when the crank is supposed to be done. I can guestimate the lengths and make the hoses all a little long, but when the braided hose is around $8 a foot you really don't want to have to cut two feet off every length. It would be -8 lines, I think -10 is a little too big. It will have a full-flow thermostat and there are several sizes of coolers to choose from. A remote filter will be a part of the 7m oil cooler kits, I hate the placement of the 7m oil filter. Oil changes are so much easier with the oil filter in the front behind the bumper.

Hey Aaron, have you thought about making the kit with the socketless hose and an fittings? They are much more flexible and easier to work with.

Awesome news, If you can do all that and keep it reasonably low priced im sold. I'll keep my eyes open. Thanks for the reply

You could easily start with just the oil filter relocation part, right?
Hint hint, nudge nudge :)
This cheap one on ebay looks kinda nice, but I'd rather support driftmotion

I would really love to see a complete thought out oil cooler kit for the supra, If it wasn't over 600 I would probably buy it instead of going through the trouble of putting together my own. Will you be using the NA stud Aaron?
