View Full Version : JUN flywheel
I'm considering ordering this for my 1JZ since it's only $323 on Taka-Kaira, and JUN is a pretty well known company anyways. Anyone heard anything about this flywheel?

I have not, but shipping will kill you. Thier is a guy on e-bay selling steel lightweight flywheels, and I really think that would be the best choice.

my friend was able to machine here 1jz flywheel from the stock 17lbs to about 11lbs... it improved her revving considerably...
thats another option...

I'm the one who just had my stock flywheel lightened to 11lbs. Its lighter than most you will pay 300 dollars for and stronger than an aluminum one. Oh and it was very inexpensive to have done. I just never got to run the 1j with a stock weight flywheel so I have nothing to compare it to.

I have personally delt with the guy selling the Billet 1JZ Flywheel on Ebay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=7965942793&category=33732&sspagename=WDVW
The guy selling the item, his name is Gordon. I honestly could not ask for someone with a better reputation. If i lived in Alaska i would buy snow from this guy. He is completely honest and has Superb quality merchandice.
I would buy from this guy again in a heartbeat.
DO NOT! question the quality of his products. I will personally vouche for Gordon!

I bought one from Gordon as well. He is a great guy - very friendly and he held the product for me while I was deployed and my wife was out of town. Not only that, but the product is absolutely perfect. Billet steel for strength, and much lighter than stock.
You can see it on the left of this picture:

I wholeheartedly recommend the guy.

Haha.. Yea, I remember looking @ his auctions and reading the part where he says he won't ship to FRANCe and shit; thinking it was HELLA funny.
Just reading what he types is comical!
