I am not good at Totals but i would Venture a guess at $800.00 - $1500.00 CAD to bring to a shop and have it repaired. That is a Dent on the upper part of the panel as well right?

Ninaj Edit

I am NO Expert though

BTW I am Sorry that you got into one. Seems that you are ok though so thats good :)

DAMN............Hate to see that! I bet the gran PRIX didn't even give a good run either.

I've got plenty of the rear "mud flap". Jus pay the shipping and one is on it's wauy to you. I got burgundy, white, grey........but no black. So, you're looking at door repair and a little paint.

I hope that rear quarter can be pulled out, those are not so easy to replace.

Yeah there is a dent on the 1/4 panel. The main thing im concerned about is rusting that may occur due to this accident. I know rust needs moisture to spread, so if its freezing cold outside, it likely will not am i correct?

it shouldnt rust too bad, unless you're planning on fixing it sometime next year.

in the winter, humidity is lower so you stand a better chance of the metal staying cleaner. when we sandblast cars we tow them to richmond in the winter and then tow them back (still in winter) so we have a better chance of getting them home with almost no surface rust.

you shouldn't be too worried about the possibility of rusting, you might get a light coat here and there but nothing that'll do any pitting or damage.

Well the total damage comes to: 5000$ CAD. Its going to need a new door, 1/4 panel and that panel under the quarter next too the door w/ the plastic on it. Insurance will pay for it all. phew.

Yeah i mostlikely wont be needing them by the looks of it now, since the accident was not my fault and insurance is covering all of it at no cost. If they cannot order these parts for me tho, i will let you know.

lol every time i think body shop guys are gettign lazery every day

i wounder fi there going to re skin it or just use pin puller

be very picky on how they fad the new clour in thou best thing to do is to strip off all teh wax you have on the car for better match

This bodyshop has been good to me in the past, completely blending the whole car to match and polishing it afterwards. They're going to have to repaint most of the car anyways seeing that the roof and both quarters are 'connected' (no gaps)

I agree with that total, Someone dented my door and part of the rear panel, and two shops quoted me between 850 and 1100 bucks. But the chick's insurance is getting me a new door and painting it, hope it comes out ok
