2jz water pump

ok im starting to work back on the supra after teh winter off. so i have a bunch of parts that im putting in, that i did not have a chance to put in last time around. 1 is a 2jzgte water pump. the question is un teh the water pump ithers a steel hose small in diameter but where does it go to or come from?

It connects the water pump body to the water outlet.

i got the billet three piece kit off of e-bay.i payed $93 for the oem steel.i got the whole aluminum set for $63 shipped,go figure.glad to hear your getting on with your ride
