Hi I had a question about the two fan motors for my 7mgte. It seems the previous owner had cut the connectors of both fans, leaving a blue (hot wire?) and ground wire for both fans. Does anyone know how I can possible make these work? Or should I run it to a toggle switch so I can make them turn on anytime? Thanks for any replies
ps. This thread was also posted on SF to get any replies from more people

Look around for the two connectors that come from the body wiring harness. I doubt the prev owner removed everything related to that system. You could always just hardwire it or rewire in some new connectors. In the unlikely event that all the wiring was removed you could install either a relay (high amp like for fog lights) or a fan controller like people use for aftermarket electric fans. Permacool makes a decent controller that basically can kick the fans on at any temperature you want. Fairly easy to wire up, around $40 IIRC. The relay solution would have to be kicked on by a switch or wired up to ignition/AC circuit, but would cost ~$10.
