Hello all. A few days ago I had my dash apart and noticed (again) both the antenna connectors, both for the main antenna and the AM antenna in the rear glass. Which prompted my question, is there any sort of adapter available that can convert both antennas into the single connector needed for my after market pioneer deck?

On a side note, my Antenna adapter from my DD Saturn which adapts the mini GM antenna plug to the standard aftermarket stereo size fit the Glass antenna connector perfectly.

Thanks for any and all help!

edit: No, I don't want to shave my big power antenna. I like it, and it works perfectly.

No... but you could solder one together pretty quick.

Thats not really an AM ant Its a diversified system. the tuner comares the two signals and then produces only the common elements to eliminate static and interference, in theory.... Combining the two most likely will not yield better performance. If one ant. is recieving station "A" and the other is recieving station "B" on the same frequency you will get RF hash or bleed thru. The louder tones of the weaker signal will sound like static on the stronger one.
