automatic 1jz clip

just a question, but how much would a 1j auto clip run for including the drive shaft? i have seen engine sets on ebay for 800 but i dont trust ebay, or the sellers on there for the most part.

We have not had any auto Supra clips come over in a long time. When we had them no one wanted them. The last two we got went into my wife's car and my friend Dave's car. All I can get now would be a Soarer 1jz with auto trans, cut harness, no ecu, no map, no ignitor. Just longblock with trans. That is probably not what you are looking for though. :( ALmost all the low low prices people are quoting from ebay are Soarer. The sellers either don't know, or don't really care to tell you how much additional time and expense it will be to make the Soarer 1jz work in your mk3, especially with an auto trans. I can get new 5 speed 1jz harnesses, but not automatic. If you want one it will require a deposit, and then we will have it shipped from Japan, so you would be looking at about 2 months. It would probably be around $2k for a Supra auto clip, but I can't say for sure.

ouch, i know of 1 place that claims they have one. im just trying to weigh out my options before i decide on what to do with my car, and i dont know if i want to stay 5 speed, or go to auto.

If you buy a clip, make sure you get it from Aaron. You won't be disappointed. His knowledge is worth alot more than you can imagine when you start your project..........I mean he's alot smarter than he looks in his pictures......................:biglaugh:

Yeah I cant recall how many countless threads there have been of people claiming to get the deal of a century on a clip or engine only to find out that they would have been a lot better off by getting a clip from DriftMotion cuz they get true completes.
