LOL, Nate caught that, it's not Rakkasan's car in the pics above hehehe
The car in the pics is a local, his name is Adrian. The engine is going in tomorrow, and he is scheduled to pick it up on Sat. Yesterday we changed the front and rear main seals, new timing belt. Jose went to 4 different junk yards to find a 5 speed donor for the pedals! Today I had the flywheel surfaced to put a new clutch disk on it, picked up some ARP flywheel bolts for it, Jose installed the 5 speed pedals (this is a manual conversion too), and new clutch master and slave cylinder. I'm doing the harness jumpers tonight.

Almost done! It's actually now in the car and running, only thing left is the intercooler. It was late, I forgot to take another pic.

All done, I cleaned the engine bay for about an hour and a half! Adrian picked it up tonight. It runs very strong, everything went great.

Aaron, did you use the ic pipe kit that you sell to make those ic pipes? I was just wondering because I bought the kit from you and can go by these pictures................lol

bigaaron
01-19-2007, 06:19 PM
Yup, same kit. The 45deg silicone elbow off the turbo outlet is the only thing you may not have, but that can be done with a aluminum bend and a straight coupler instead.

Coming off of the intercooler are two ~120deg pieces cut from the 180 deg aluminum pipes, then the silicone 90's turn up to meet two ~30deg bends cut from the 45deg aluminum pipes. Then coming off of the throttle body and the turbo outlet you can use the two 90deg aluminum pipes. If you need any 45deg silicone elbows I have them in stock.

His heater valve was broken and he was not sure of the intergrity of the heater core, so we decided to bypass it rather then have the floormats floating on 2.5 gallons of red coolant. :biglaugh:

We have the Samco hoses in stock in red, black, and blue.
The intercooler kit is all out of the universal kit (plus a few elbows) and the intercooler we sell.

I sell that entire IC kit for $425 (plus shipping), or $600 installed (for locals only lol). You just have to cut the pipes and drill a few holes in the brackets.
I had the IC install done in about 3 hours.
