CPS leaking internally [Archive]

Well my cps has developed a leak, not from the o ring but from the seal that goes around the shaft. Called Jeff at champion--a new one is 400+ dollars.

But he said that napa or car quest had the seal, one would just need to take it apart. He wasn't 100% sure about it though.

Anyone here heard of this or is that myth busted?

Yes, it's possible. Yes, I have the seals :D
If you want, I can send you one, or send you an R&R'd unit with new seal/o-ring, cleaned pickups and even a new cover&seal.
I'll need yours as a core, however.

How much, put one on from friends wrecking yard and will see if it leaks or not.
