These lines replace your origional stock 7m or 1jz hose and banjo bolts, so banjo bolts are not needed.

How much for the hydro fan kit? You know money is no object...............:biglaugh:
That looks awesome Aaron. I can't wait to open it up. I'll be like a six year old at Christmas this year. I still need from you: Samco radiator hoses in blue, FPR lines, I have the FPR already, 4" intake pipe with filter, also the powersteering hoses for the 1jz in that braided hose if you have those available. I had told you that I wanted that blue hose, but I will take the braided lines if you have them.............lol
Looking good. Thanks for all of your help.

We can make just about any hose for just about anything. :biglaugh:
Just let me know how long you want it, it will be just about the same price as the 7m one.

The pressure line could be braided, but the return line is a slip fit for rubber hose. I don't think the braided line would work because it would not be the right i.d., and it does not expand very much at all.

also, any ideas on an FFIM design?
btw, if someone where to purchase that ss exhaust manifold for the 7m would you be willing to add bracing to it, and if so, how much?

FFIM, I would leave that to Ron, his are so nice :aigo:
I would not add bracing directly to the manifold itself because it would void the warranty on it, but a bracket could be made to go from the block to one of the bolts on the turbo flange, that would take some of the weight off of the manifold runners.

Aaron, any way to get a powersteering return line made for a 1j with a 1990 auto radiator using the auto tranny cooler as a ps cooler? You know made so it wont sag down and get snatched up by any road monster.

This one is actually discontinued, I need to edit this thread.
The banjo fittings looked nice, but the manufacturer had a whole run of fittings that were machined incorrectly, which could have caused problems with flow if we had not caught the problem immediately. I switched to a hose with 90deg fittings on both ends with straight -6 to 16mm adaptors that are machined to the correct depth for the rack and pump. That makes for better flow then the banjo fittings, and it costs less.

I need a 2JZGE in a MKII hose. If I give pic/measurements, same price? I need fuel lines, possibly a/c lines also.
Work something out?

On a 1jz that vacuum valve stays in place, and my hose screws into the fitting the screws the vacuum valve fitting in. I'll have to post a pic of the one in the shop.

What pressure are those lines rated to? Every other setup I've seen for the high pressure side of a power steering system (not supra stuff but s13, ae86 and others) has used the blue braided high pressure power steering line. And they use that because the regular stainless braided line isn't rated to high enough a pressure to handle the high pressure side of a power steering system.
So are these special lines? Or is the supra power steering system operate on a much lower high pressure than most other systems? Who is the manufacturer of the actual hose?
Tim

Yes, the hose we use is rated at over 2000psi. We have not had one problem with any of our power steering hoses, and have used them on 7m, 1jz and 2jz Supras, Cressidas, and SC300's. It's not standard ss oil line.

Cool, just checking. Like I said, most power steering setups I've seen and worked on use the blue hose because it's rated at a higher pressure than most of the ss braided lines.
Do you have any 7m setups in stock? Is price still the same as it was originally? How much a pain in the ass is the install?
bigaaron
08-06-2007, 12:56 AM
The new 7m one will be the same price as the 1jz. I need to change it on the website. Install is really easy.

I recently bought this product and installed it today excellant quality and very easy to install...
I had been dreading replacing my ps pressure line because of how it is routed and is a pain to install..... So I seen this and decided to get it... shipping was very fast and I was able to unbolt stock ps line then cut it so i could get it out without unbolting the rack and took it out.. hooked up the new ps line from driftmotion I love the way its routed now saves room for intercooler pipes too.... I highly recommend this product as a fix for a leak or just for upgraded purposes..
thanks,
Ken
