Well here it is...

Should I go with the Holset program once and again, and try and make it to the Chicago meet in July...

OR!

Rebuild my already rebuilt but dead after 10 miles @ 15psi upgraded CT-26 and try it again?

Rebuild the ct26 for now, but don't do it yourself since you already know what happens when you do it yourself. Unless you want to practice rebuilding turbos. maybe if you get good, i have a couple of turbos that need to be rebuilt. you'll be the man.

?-How much was the rebuild kit?

The rebuild kits go for about $175 and a balance job is $45. Also, I think I found the problem on my last rebuild.

The stack was the wrong height. and for some reason, the balance job - EVEN though the alignment marks were still in order, went all to hell. So, rebalance again, make sure the stack height is good, and rock on.

The cheapest I have found that any one will touch this turbo for a full rebuild even though it is 100% cleaned and ready to go (no dissassembly labor required) is $600. YIKES!

If you were closer you could borrow my spare GT30R ;)!

I'd go for rebuild2 on the CT for the experience as I hate being beaten by a mechanical things!
