Hello,
I've been lurking on the forums for a couple months now, and decided to start posting.
I'm in Colorado, and recently trekked out to Virginia to pick up my red '88 Turbo hardtop.
It's in bad shape engine-wise; horrific blown head-gasket, hoses crumbling in hand, and countless bolts missing throughout.
But none of that really matters, because I plan to fully restore and rebuild everything possible.
My broad goal for the car is to be a "driver's car"; quick throttle response, great torque curve, nimble suspension, and perhaps above all, a sweet exhaust note.
Horsepower will be conservative, probably in the 300-350 range.
I look forward to learning, helping, and being a part of the community!
