The automatic tranny is not working. This is the first time I did a install with an automatic but I dont know what I could have done wrong. The tranny lever shifts but the park and all the functions are not working. What could be wrong?? :nono:

Seriously? Did you work things out with PhiDelt109 with the springs you sold him? If not, assistance will cost you $80, payable to PhiDelt109's paypal account.

LOL, karma's a bitch, isn't it?

Porter - I know the answer to this one myself ;)

You can pretty much forget about getting any help from the old heads here until you make it right with PhiDelt109 and he posts you made it right.

What goes around, comes around Porter...might want to think about that.

Ive had this problem happen to me! The fix is actually realllly realllly easy.

Go out and purchase a bottle of coolant. Open you hood, open the OIL (710) cap and pour as much coolant in there as you can fit. Close top. And drive your hearts desire out!!!

i think the green gets the attention.

and will, ive heard about that coolant stuff, too. people say it works wonders, but only if you shove the bottle up your ass after you empty it into the oil filler cap.

Paint your tranny with rust paint on one side, it will make the tranny look new and work!

Same thing happened to me portez. You probably put the tranny in backwards. Turn it around and you're golden. Worked for me at least. :3d_frown:

You need more fluid. It takes around 12 quarts or until the tranny fluid is all the way to the top of the dipstick tube. Without the fluid you wont go anywhere. Hope this will help out.
Oh yea i almost forgot make sure it 90w gear oil.

WTF?? Why are you helping him?

Although, that info was easily found if searched for... so nevermind.

I don't really nkow what is going on but to screw someone from here and then turn around and ask for assistance seems to be about like shooting yourself in the pecker and then asking how to reattach it. I would deffinatly fix what you have wronged before asking anything else. Otherwise expect to have many threads of flaming.

Maybe you need springs.

If you fix the leak into the hatch it will make it shift better.

You might want to check to see if you put your motor mounts on because if not the motor will spin upside down and go in circles instead of the tranny moving. I have seen this with many people installing trannys. Make sure you keep your hands out of the engine bay while the motor is spining around or its like a blender :3d_frown:

I hate it when that happens. the last time that I did that it took me a week to figure out what the problem was.

I thought it would be easier to put the oil in if it was upside down :dunno:

It helps if you drink paint thinner before you try. Everything looks better then.

suprapower1221

It is if you can shut it off at the right time and it stays upside down. If you try pouring while the motor is spinning you will have a tie dyed shirt with all of them oil stains.

That is why you buy a button to bump it over. It helps when it just won't stop where you want it. Maybe he could sell the shirts to pay someone to fix his car

bah, you guys are all retards. i cant believe youve never put a tranny in before!

heres what you do:
strip the interior (yes, even the carpet)
bust out the sawzall and cut a large hole in the floor around the tranny
use aforementioned sawzall to finish cutting transmission out
find new tranny (gearing from an 18 speed bike should fit, but if you want the extra power in the 1/4 mile definitely go for the 21 speed jdm bike)
kick back, take a gallon jug of bleach, pour some in a glass and drink the remaining bleach in the jug.

have fun!

:yelrotflm lmao He just needs to spend more time reading and less time :wuteva: Because if he cant do the tranny install you know he spends to much to playing with him self instead of searching up info. I agree with clip on the bleach. Once you drink the rest of the jug you wont believe how fast time flies while doing the Tranny install. Be a man and use the funnel that you were putting the oil into your car while your motor was upside down to finish off the jug of bleach. Sorta like a beer bong.

tranny fluid, or :wuteva: tranny fluid?

The bleach or the tranny fluid? Either way it will hurt on the way out.

Porterzsupra you should let us know how your tranny finally turned out in the end. Hopefully he does get back to us even after he drinks the bleach/paint thinner.
