Before i removed rattling pulley causing knock sensor to pull timing:

After removal, hit fuel cut in second both times, unshimmed wastegate causing it to not hold boost till redline in first or second:

Remove that elbow and get a larger exhaust.

I would think you should have at least been in the 14's!

well the 15.3 run went like this. 3500rpm launch slipping the clutch boost hits 10psi and drops to 7psi take it to 6300rpm, shift to 2nd bam fuel cut cause it spikes and boost goes to 5psi take it to 6200rpm, shift to 3rd and boost goes to 10psi and holds all the way till 6400rpms as i crossed the line.

i heard there is an open ay at the track on november 11th i hope to run again. Today i shimmed the wastegate 5mm, and did the AFM mod drilled the plug and turned out the screw. I redid the boost on the boost controller so it hits 14 now with no fuel cut, still drops from 14 to 11 in first and 14 to 11-12 in second and 3rd 4th and 5th all hold 14psi while at wide open throttle. Also the spool time is drasticallly decreased. so we shall see what she does. Im practicing my reaction time and my launch as well. Might be wishfull thinking but i hope to break into mid 14's if i get to run once more this season.

I think the mph was low. still something wrong with the car. I'd look further. With a stock gutted downpipe, 10 psi, intake, and fat tires, I did 13.9's @ around 89 mph.

i couldnt really launch the car cause it would wheel hop do to a shot suspension., and with the rear end whining id be worried that wheel hop would blow it up.

see look at the difference launch makes!

2.4 60' = 15.769 @ 87.71

2.09 60' = 15.34 @ 87.71

btw, 2.09 is respectable on street tires with our car, esp with someone new to the track.

keep at it! now that the fuel cut is sorted i'm confident you will be in the 14's at 90+
