Nice, cool night.

Mods:
High flow custom air filter (4" intake to the AFM)
3" turbo elbow +
3" downpipe +
3" exhaust
No cats
10psi stock CT26
Stock IC piping etc etc

New best -
60' - 2.394
330' - 6.707
1/8th - 10.198 @ 70.55mph
1000' - 13.212
1/4 - 15.753 @ 88.86mph

I'm still not running where I should be! I'm not hitting fuel cut, everything seems to be checking out ok. I'll know more tomorrow, when I get the laptop out there to datalog the wideband. I bet I'm still pig rich.

Eh, better than my old 17.8 (only difference is the turbo-back 3" exhaust)

Ahaha! I was 13 degrees retarded - ALSO a little problem, were the tops of the Autolite 3923's (you know, the plugs everyone recommends on the 7M?) having corrosion - as well as the spark plug wires themselves.

3923's vs NGK 2330s

Same difference in height, of Autolite 5503s vs the 3923s. I'm not recommending the Autolite 3923 plugs to anyone with a Supra anymore - go NGKs (2230 for standard plugs) or 5503 Autolites.

I believe the plug wires were unable to fully seat on the spark plug - causing some arcing, and the corrosion I found.

Also, after setting my timing correct to 10 degrees BTC (rather than 3 degrees AFTER) the car runs a TON smoother, and seems more powerful from 3000+ rpm. Another trip to the track will tell (hope to break 90mph!)

with those mods should break 100 (or be really close) i went 98 hitting fuel cut in 2nd and 3rd shifts and 100 when i didn't with 3" exuhast and 10 psi

fwiw my tps was bad when i first got my car running it only trapped 83 mph.. come to find out the bad tps when i set the timing I set it to -5* or so.. fixed it.. ran a 91 mph.. bone stock.. so retarding the timing makes a huge difference..

yea with those mods you should be doing mid 14s at just under 100mph.

Ok, back to the track *again*

Same mods as before, just fresh plugs + wires + timing set correctly.

Quickest time:
60' - 2.258
330' - 6.386
1/8 - 9.768 @ 72.88mph
1000' - 12.690
1/4 - 15.154 @ 91.65mph

Fastest run was a 15.254 @ 92.69mph.

I'm happy so far, considering my beat up stock IC + rubber piping, and 200k miles on the motor :D

pretty good.. with the old rubber piping i bet there are some boost leaks.. fix those and you'll go faster.. not bad though for a 200k mile engine
